HP ve Garanti Teknoloji İşbirliği, Garanti Şubelerini Cebe Taşıd

Cep telefonlarından bankacılık işlemlerinin yapılmasına olanak tanıyan ve wap.garanti.com.tr adresinden ulaşılabilen Garanti Cep Şubesi projesinin çalışmalarını yürüten Garanti Teknoloji, proje kapsamında ihtiyaç duyduğu çözüm ve ürünler için HP uzmanlığı ve deneyiminden yararlandı. Yapılan işbirliğiyle, bankacılık işlemlerinin her an, her yerden ve pek çok farklı cep telefonuyla yapılmasını sağlayan, tam anlamıyla "mobil" bir yapı kuruldu.

İki ayda 50 bin kullanıcı!
Projenin ilk iki ayında sisteme 50 bin giriş yapıldı. Garanti Bankası Genel Müdürü Ergun Özen, gelecek 5 yıl içinde Garanti Cep Şubesi'nin kullanıcı sayısını 2 milyona çıkartmayı hedeflediklerini söyledi ve ekledi: "Garanti Cep Şubesi, kısa sürede çok fazla kişiye ulaştı. Bu performansta HP'nin teknoloji desteğinin çok önemli katkısı var. Dünyada bile yeni yeni yaygınlaşmaya başlayan bu hizmetin, Türkiye'de tahminlerimizin çok daha üzerinde bir hızda gelişim sergileyeceğine inanıyoruz."

Cep Şubesi Projesi; hesap bilgileri, para transferi, yatırım, döviz, fatura ve kart işlemleri gibi bankacılık hizmetlerine cep telefonları üzerinden ulaşmayı mümkün kılıyor. Sistem, kullanıcılarına en çok hisse senedi alım satımı ve para transferi gibi anlık işlemlerde kolaylık sağlıyor.

HP ile mobil bankacılıkta devrim!
Türkiye'deki 56 milyon cep telefonu kullanıcısına, bulundukları her yerden 7/24 bankacılık işlemi yapma imkanı tanıyan Garanti Cep Şubesi projesinde Garanti Teknoloji, HP ve İngiliz yazılım firması Volantis birlikte çalıştı. Sistemin kolay kullanımı için, mobil İnternet çözümleri üreten Volantis'in yazılımı HP Entegrasyon ve Danışmanlık Ekibi tarafından, cep telefonu marka ve modeli ayırt etmeksizin çalışacak şekilde geliştirildi. Altyapı çalışmalarında HP Blade, HP ProLiant ve HP Unix sunucular kullanılarak hızlı, kesintisiz ve güvenilir teknoloji çözümleri getirildi.

Altı aydır üzerinde çalıştıkları Garanti Cep Şubesi projesini hayata geçirmek için hızlı ve konuya hakim bir iş ortağına ihtiyaç duyduklarını ifade eden Garanti Bankası Teknolojiden Sorumlu Genel Müdür Yardımcısı Hüsnü Erel, HP sayesinde olağanüstü hız kazandıklarını belirtti ve ekledi: "HP ile olan işbirliğimizden çok memnunuz. Garanti Teknoloji'de ürün geliştirme süreci hızlı gelişir. Bu projede HP'nin desteği çok önemliydi. HP'den alınan teknoloji desteği sayesinde, donanımların ve yazılımların kurulması gibi altyapı çalışmaları sadece 2 ay içinde tamamlandı."

HP Türkiye Genel Müdürü S. Şahin Tulga ise mobil çözümlerin günümüzde giderek önemini artırdığını vurgulayarak şöyle konuştu: "Garanti Cep Şubesi Projesi, pek çok farklı cep telefonu modeli ve markasında kullanılması açısından, yalnızca Türkiye'de değil Avrupa'da da eşine rastlanmayan bir uygulama. Türk bankacılık sektöründe böyle bir 'ilk'e imza atmaktan gurur duyuyoruz. HP, mobilite kavramına ne denli önem verdiğini, geliştirdiği ürün ve çözümleriyle ortaya koyuyor. Teknolojinin, hayatın her alanında yaygın kullanımını sağlamak için çalışmalarımızı sürdürüyoruz."

Bankacılıkta sınırları kaldıran projenin güvenliği 128-bit Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) protokolüyle sağlandı. Mobil cihazlar üzerine hiçbir bilgi kaydetme ihtiyacı yaratmayan sisteme erişim, telefon değişikliği, çalınma, ya da kaybolma gibi durumlardan etkilenmiyor.
